Terms and Conditions
Service Requests: Service calls/appointments should be made no less than four (4) hours before the intended pick-up time. Summit Taxi cannot guarantee prompt pick-up for calls made less than four hours before the intended pick-up time. Such calls will be honored based upon the availability of vehicles and the distance between available vehicles and the pick-up point.
Contract Agreement: Deposits made for group transportation with Summit Taxi are non-refundable. Cancellations for SUVs within 48 hours will be billed at 100%. Clients are responsible for notifying us of all airline changes, delays, cancellations, and missed flights. Please adhere to our non-smoking policy.
Fees and Charges:
- General Billing: All services are billed to your credit card or a company account (if previously approved). We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Additional Charges: Charges may include national park entrance fees, airport fees, applicable fuel surcharges, and other relevant expenses.
Driver Appreciation: Our drivers work diligently to ensure punctuality and offer friendly advice. Tipping is not included in your booking. The amount is at your discretion, whether in cash or during the booking process.
Trip Duration and Additional Fees: Trips of unusual duration may incur extra fees, such as meals and accommodations for drivers. Rates are subject to change without notice. The applicable rate is that which is in effect at the time of the scheduled service.
Quotations and Actual Charges: Quotations provided are estimates. Actual charges may vary due to factors such as traffic and weather. The driver will wait up to fifteen (15) minutes on non-airport pick-ups before calling for authorization to wait or cancel.
Cancellation Policy and Refunds:
- No Shows: Cancellation fees apply based on the following schedule:
- 48 hours or more in advance: No cancellation fee
- Less than 48 hours: Full base fare
- At pick-up time or no shows: Full base fare + 18% service fee + applicable wait fees and expenses.
- Refunds: Refer to our cancellation policy.
Holiday Service: A surcharge of 20% may apply on major U.S. holidays. Check for availability and rates on these days.
Hourly Services: Hourly services are billed at current hourly rates. There is a Four (4) hours minimum charge for SUVs. City-to-city services are billed as round trips, even if one-way service is required.
Important Disclaimers: Summit Taxi will not be liable for circumstances beyond our control, including mechanical breakdown, road conditions, weather impacts, and communication delays. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during transportation.
